Core Funding
This area covers expenses related to One by One  Leadership, project development, research, administration and overhead. One by One Leadership's core budget is currently about $500,000. Core funding is raised from local family foundations, churches, individuals, businesses, and hospitals that invest in One by One Leadership as a vehicle to carry out their vision in our community. Irvine Foundation
Funding for building a resident-led neighborhood organizations and other leadership development projects in several Fresno neighborhoods.

Fresno Workforce Development Board
Funding for a major welfare-to-work project that included One by One Leadership, Fresno City College and the Fresno County Economic Opportunities Commission.

California Endowment
Funding for a neighborhood-based GIS project

Fresno County CalWorks
Funding for a mentoring project involving volunteer mentors from the faith-based community who are paired up with welfare-to-work participants.

Public/Private Ventures
Funding for a mentoring project involving volunteer mentors who are paired up with high-risk youth.

California Works for Better Health (California Endowment & Rockefeller Foundation)
Funding for a local collaborative effort between One by One Leadership, West Fresno Coalition for Economic Development and Center for New Americans entitled Fresno Works for Better Health. There are similar efforts underway in San Diego, Los Angeles, and Sacramento.
